»Delaware will welcome Northeastern Sunday for a CAA battle inside Bob Carpenter Center. This will be the 62nd meeting between both teams, with the Blue Hens holding a 44-17 overall record and 28-16 mark in league play.

» After not playing in front of the home crowd since Nov. 21, the Blue Hens captured a dominating 73-38 victory over Hofstra on Friday (Jan. 14), with Tara Cousins leading the way with a career-best 17 points, shooting 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.

» Northeastern faced the CAA defending champions Drexel on Friday (Jan. 14), where the Dragons claimed the 63-50 over the Huskies to extend their winning streak to eight games.

» The last time Delaware and Northeastern met was during the abbreviated 2020-21 season. The Blue & Gold swept the season series by earning back-to-back victories in Newark (59-47 on Feb. 6 & 65-59 on Feb. 7). UD is heading into Sunday's matchup winners of five-straight games over the Huskies.

» On Monday, Ty Battle took home CAA Player of the Week accolades for the first time this season (second career) after putting together a career afternoon against Charleston. She tied her career-best 21 points and pulled down a career-high 22 rebounds (eight offensive) to post her seventh double-double on the season. With her 22 rebound performance, Battle is tied for second in program history in total rebounds in a single game (Lori Howard's 1980 record, 22 vs. West Chester). Battle leads the conference and ranks 22nd among the national leaders in double-doubles.
