Men’s Lacrosse Tabbed No. 19 in USILA Poll

NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware men's lacrosse team has picked up another top-20 ranking, as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has the Blue Hens slotted No. 19, announced today by the organization.

The Blue Hens are one of two Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) teams listed in the top-20 poll. Drexel was voted two spots ahead of Delaware in the 17^th position. It's the first national poll this preseason that Drexel was voted ahead of the Blue Hens. The defending CAA regular-season champions registered a 7-1 mark in league play last year, as they open the 2022 campaign at home on Saturday, Feb. 5 versus NJIT.

Delaware is scheduled to play three ranked opponents in 2022 – at No. 3 Duke (Feb. 22), vs. No. 16 Johns Hopkins (Mar. 20), and at No. 17 Drexel (Apr. 23).

Last week, Delaware was picked to finish second in the CAA preseason polls.
