CHARLESTON, S.C. – New Month, Same Mission! The University of Delaware volleyball team will close out their four-game road trip this weekend in Charleston, S.C. as the squad is set to face Charleston in a CAA weekend series Sunday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. inside TD Arena.

Up Next: Delaware will return to the First State to host the defending CAA champions Towson in a weekend series Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9. Both matches are slated for a 2 p.m. start inside Bob Carpenter Center.

What You Need to Know:
- This will be the 21st meeting between Delaware and Charleston, with the Cougars holding the 14-6 all-time record.
- Delaware will enter the series victorious of four-straight over Charleston, including last year's series sweep inside Bob Carpenter Center. The last time the Blue Hens won on the Cougars' home court was during the 2019 season with a four-set win on Oct. 27.
- The Blue Hens are hot where the team is entering the weekend currently on a seven-match winning streak (8-4 on the season), going 21-2 in sets and is one of the four teams that are undefeated in conference play (4-0).
- The last time Delaware was out was against new conference foe Hampton, where the Blue Hens swept the season series with straight-set victories on Sept. 24-25.
- Charleston (7-8, 2-0 CAA), who is also one of the four teams undefeated in conference play, opened league play on the road on Sept. 24-25 against UNCW. The Cougars also completed the season series sweep, first with a four-set win followed by a 3-0 win inside Hanover Hall.
- The statline at Hampton (Sept. 25): Lani Mason led the way with 17 kills and 10 digs to post her fifth double-double of the season; Kirah Johnson followed with 12 kills while Lily Rogers directed the Blue Hen offense with 36 assists; Savannah Seemans and Eileen Gex scooped up 18 and 10 digs, respectively.
- Mason ranks among the national leaders in kills per set (2nd, 5.43), points per set (6th, 5.90) and total kills (10th, 239) while leading the conference in all three statistical categories.
