PHILADELPHIA. – Delaware rowing competed in its first race of the season, Navy Day Regatta, on Sunday.
Leading the way got the Blue Hens in the women's collegiate 8's was bow # 359 finishing 6th overall with a time of 12:48.28 c- Claire Higgins-Hart, 8- Grace Visser, 7- Julia Rothstein, 6- Delaney Denegar, 5- Sloane Matthews, 4- Ava Tine, 3- Mary Quackenbushg, 2- Julia Moller, 1- Meaghan Leahy
Bow # 376 finished 14th overall at 13:22. 23 c- Julia Malich 8- Lexie Skor, 7- Hannah Towhey, 6- Grace Diehl, 5- McKenna Twitchell, 4- Harriet Gaughan, 3- Sophia Talley, 2- Blair Kennedy, 1- Lydia Greenwood.
In the women's collegiate 4's was bow #142, finishing 10th overall with a time of 14:13.31 c- Grace Phillips 4- Alli Burns, 3- Harriet Gaughan, 2- Makana Steinmetz, 1- Ava Norton.
The next Blue Hens boat to finish was bow #160 in 25th place at 14:47.21 c- Amina Mai, 4- Cornelia Meiss, 3- Maddy Singh, 2- Elena Sherman, 1- Storme Buckle.
Bow #173 placed 28th at 15:08.41 c- Olivia Kelley-Quigley, 4- Hanaa Abdallah, 3- Madeline Climie, 2- Gabriella Gherardi, 1- Olivia Hollingsworth.
Rounding out was bow #182 in 31st with a time of 15:15.85 c- Leah Prentice, 4- Alexis O'Keefe, 3- Rachel Henry, 2- Felicia Marcozzi, 1- Lydia Greenwood.
