Blue Hen Women Tie for Third at UD Lady Blue Hen Invitational

Rehoboth Beach, Del. – The University of Delaware women's golf team finished the UD Lady Blue Hen Invitational on Sunday and ended tied for third place with Penn.
The Blue Hens fired a match-low 291 score to finish with a score of 897. Delaware was one of three teams to score 291 after round three, with champion Dartmouth and second-place Harvard also scoring the same. Dartmouth finished with a score of 880 to win the invitational and Harvard finished with 891.
Anna Kittelson tied for sixth place with a five over par 74-74-73-221 mark on the par-72, 6,169-yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club course. Kittelson recorded nine total birdies, including five in round three, and 35 total pars in the match.
Christina Carroll tied for eighth with a six over par 75-74-73-222 mark. Carroll notched three total birdies in the invitational and 15 pars in the final round.
Lexi Dart fired an 11 over par 78-73-76-227 to end in a tie for 18th place while Alice Sundberg, who played as an individual, tied for 27th place with a 13 over par 76-78-75-229.
Dartmouth's Sophie Thai had the best score among players, finishing the match six under par with a score of 210.
This invitational closed the Blue Hens' fall schedule, a strong finish with eyes towards the spring.
