Women’s Golf Set for Spring Competition

EATONTON, Ga. – The Delaware women's golf team is set to open its spring season at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite hosted by Mercer University this Friday.
The Blue Hens competed in five tournaments during the fall and will have two tournaments apiece in the states of Georgia and Arizona before the CAA Championship in May.
The team returns the same roster from the fall, which is headlined by Christina Carroll and Lexi Dart, who were members of last year's CAA All-Tournament team, and Oihana Etxezarreta, who was named to last year's All-CAA Second Team.
The Blue Hens will head to Phoenix for the GCU Invitational on Feb. 27-28, and Sedona, Ariz. for the Red Rocks Invitational on Mar. 18-19 before heading back to Georgia for the Brickyard Intercollegiate on Apr. 3-5.
These competitions will culminate in the CAA Championship on Apr. 14-16 at the Clubs at St. James in Southport, N.C., looking for a repeat of last year's success.
