Men's Lacrosse Releases 2023 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The reigning Colonial Athletic Association tournament champions are back and ready to take the field for the 2023 season under sixth-year head coach Ben DeLuca.
The Blue Hens will play eight home games at Delaware Stadium and six road games.
UD opens the season with a pair of road games against Lafayette College on Saturday, Feb. 11, and Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Following the two road games, the Blue Hens host five straight home games at Delaware Stadium. The Blue Hens' home opener is on Saturday, Feb. 18 vs St. John's.
UD welcomes two major non-conference foes to Delaware Stadium, starting with Villanova on Sunday, Feb. 26, followed by the University of Michigan on Saturday, March 4.
Following the Villanova and Michigan games, the Blue Hens host UMBC on Tuesday, March 7. Delaware closes its home stand and opens CAA play against Monmouth on Saturday, March 11.
After its five-game home stand, Delaware travels for a non-conference battle against Big Ten foe Johns Hopkins on Sunday, March 19. Last season, the Blue Hens defeated Johns Hopkins in a thrilling 12-10 victory at Delaware Stadium. The Blue Hens were led by Mike Robinson, who scored five goals. UD closes the road stand at Hofstra on March 25.
Delaware returns home for a pair of home conference matchups vs Hampton on Saturday, April 1, and celebrates Senior Day against Fairfield on Saturday, April 8.
After a conference road game with Stony Brook on Saturday, April 15, the Blue Hens host their final regular season home match against CAA foe, Drexel, on Saturday, April 22. The Blue Hens defeated Drexel twice last season, including a 19-6 victory in the CAA Semifinals.
Delaware's game vs Drexel will be Military Appreciation day. A full list of game promotions will be released at a later date.
The Blue Hens close out the regular season with a conference road matchup at Towson on Saturday, April 29. The Blue Hens also defeated the Tigers twice in 2022, including an 11-6 win in the CAA Tournament Championship.
The CAA Tournament takes place on Thursday, May 4, and Saturday, May 6. The CAA regular season champion hosts the tournament.
Tickets are now available for all games in the 2023 season. Fans can purchase season ticket packages of four or more games, as well as individual game tickets. The Stadium Club in the Whitney Athletic Center will be open for all games this season.
