Miller Earns CAA Player of the Week Nod

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware men's lacrosse attacker Clay Miller has been voted the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week, announced Monday by the league office.

Miller came off the bench to score a career-high five goals in Delaware's heart stopping 12-11 win on the road at St. Joe's. Miller's five goals earned him his third hat trick in as many games. He scored three goals in the first half and two in the second, including the game tying goal at 1:28 in the third quarter to make it 10-10. Three of Miller's goals were unassisted, as he leads the team with 11 total on the season. It was the first road game of the season for the Blue Hens, as UD improved to 3-0 on the season.

The accolade is the first player of the week honor of Miller's career and the third consecutive week a Blue Hen has won the honor.
