McDaniel Tabbed CAA Co-Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Delaney McDaniel earned Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Co-Rookie of the Week honors, her second weekly honor this season, announced by the conference office Monday.

McDaniel had a career-high four assists and tied her career-high five points in Delaware's 11-10 upset against No. 18 Temple (March 11). She assisted Danika Swech to tie the game, 10-10, in the fourth quarter and assisted Danielle Livornese's game-winning goal in the final two minutes of play.

The Severna Park, Md. native also tallied two assists against Army (March 9). McDaniel leads the team with 16 points (4g, 12a) and leads the CAA with 1.71 assists per game.

The Blue Hens host Saint Joseph's Saturday at 1 p.m. in Delaware Stadium for Senior Day.
