Kilkeary Picks Up Second CAA Weekly Honor

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware men's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Matt Kilkeary has been named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Week this season, announced Monday by the league office.
Making his first start since Feb. 22, Kilkeary was phenomenal in goal as he guided Delaware to an 11-10 win over Towson. Delaware's victory over Towson gave the Tigers their first loss in conference play this season. Kilkeary had the most saves amongst all teams this week, as he tied his career-high of 17 saves in the victory with a .630 save percentage. The Lake Sherwood, Calif. native also scooped up three ground balls in the win.
The accolade is the second player of the week honor of Kilkeary's career. It's the sixth weekly honor for a Blue Hen this season.
