Grant Earns Inside Lacrosse Second Team All-America Accolades

Inside Lacrosse All-America Team

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware men's lacrosse senior Owen Grant has been named to the 2022 Inside Lacrosse Men's DI All-Americans, as voted on by members of the media.

A native of Newmarket, Ontario, Grant is Delaware's all-time caused turnovers leader with 85. The two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year also set a new single-season record for caused turnovers with 33. Grant helped guide the Blue Hens to their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2011 and a pair of wins in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007. The defenseman ranked 15th nationally with 1.75 caused turnovers per game for a Blue Hen defense that ranked second in the CAA in goals allowed per game.

The team was announced during the Delaware-Georgetown NCAA First Round game on Sunday, May 15.

This is the second All-American honor for Grant this season. He was named to the USA Lacrosse All-American Second Team last week.
