» For the first time since 2011, the Delaware men's lacrosse team has advanced to the Colonial Athletic Association tournament championship game. The No. 1 seeded Blue Hens put on an impressive showing on Thursday in Philadelphia to defeat No. 4 seed Drexel 19-6.

» Owen Grant was named the back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year after 26 caused turnovers, five goals scored, and three assists. Grant is joined on the All-CAA First Team by JP Ward. Four Blue Hens - Tye Kurtz, Mike Robinson, Joe Speers and Mark Bieda - were named to the All-Second Team.

» Delaware and Towson will meet for the first time in the CAA championship game since 2010, when the Blue Hens defeated the Tigers, 12-9.

» Delaware set or tied several CAA Tournament records in the semifinal win over Drexel. Mike Robinson's six goals and JP Ward's eight points both tied CAA single-game records. The Blue Hens set a new team single-game record for goals with 19 and points with 32. They tied the single-game record for assists with 13.

» Delaware last won the CAA Tournament Championship in 2011 with a 9-7 win over UMass as the No. 4 seed. The Blue Hens have won four tourney crowns (2007, 2010, 2011). Kurtz has scored at least one point in 43 consecutive games, while Robinson has scored at least one point in all 33 games he has appeared in at Delaware. Both players joined the 100 Goals Club on April 30 at Fairfield.
