Kurtz Named to Lacrosse Canada 2022 U21 Men’s World Championship Roster

NEWARK, Del. - Delaware men's lacrosse player Reed Kurtz has been named to the Canada 2022 U21 Men's World Championship Roster, announced by the organization. The championships will take place from August 10-20 in Limerick, IRE. Kurtz and co. will open the tournament on Aug. 10 against Team USA at 12 p.m. local time.
Kurtz, a native of Puslinch, Ontario, was a starter and key contributor on the Delaware men's lacrosse team during his junior campaign. He played a crucial role in the Blue Hens winning a share of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) regular-season title and earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. The defender played in every game this season for the Blue Hens, finishing with 39 groundballs and 11 caused turnovers this spring.
More than 500 athletes across a record 23 teams will compete in the largest junior world championship stage by World Lacrosse.
