Volleyball Reveals 2022 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware volleyball team is excited to hear "Point, Set, Match for the Blue Hens" this fall as first-year head coach Kimberly Lambert announced the 2022 schedule. The 25-match slate is highlighted by eight conference matchups inside the Bob Carpenter Center along with road outings against two teams that made the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Delaware will kick off the 2022 regular season schedule on Friday, Aug. 26 in Philadelphia, Pa. in Temple Tournament by taking on the hosts Temple and then face Seton Hall on Saturday, Aug. 27 to close out the two-day tournament.
Four days later, the Blue Hens will make their home debut inside Bob Carpenter Center on Wednesday, Aug. 31 against George Washington.
UD will head to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, Sept. 3 to face American before going to Baltimore, Md. to play against UMBC on Sunday, Sept. 4.
The final tune up prior to conference play will take place in Rock Hill, S.C., as Delaware will compete at the Winthrop Tournament and face Wyoming, the hosts Winthrop and Davidson Sept. 9-10.
The Blue Hens will begin CAA play inside the friendly confides of Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday, Sept. 17 when they welcome Northeastern for a pair of weekend matches. Additional home CAA contest dates this season are against the defending champions Towson (Oct. 8-9), new conference member Stony Brook (Oct. 15-16) and UNCW (Oct. 29-30).
Delaware's conference road trips includes facing new conference foe Hampton (Sept. 24-25), Charleston (Oct. 1-2), Hofstra (Oct. 22-23) and William & Mary (Nov. 5-6) before concluding the regular season at home against Chicago State on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The 2022 CAA Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled for Nov. 17-19 at SECU Arena on the campus of Towson University in Towson, Md.
