12 Rowers Recognized as CRCA Scholar-Athletes

NEWARK, Del. – Twelve University of Delaware Rowers were recognized by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) as Scholar-Athletes following the 2021-22 season. The Blue Hens tied last year's record of 12 honorees.
Over 1,000+ student-athletes were recognized by the CRCA as Scholar Athletes. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA (or higher), meet all the requirements set by their institution, and be in their second, third, or fourth year of eligibility. Additionally, the student-athlete must have competed in at least 75 % of the team's spring races.
Repeats from last year's list include, Alli Burns, Madeline Curran, Jessica Dobson, Tierney Ellis, Hannah Kirk, Julia Rothstein, Maddy Singh, Alexia Skor, and Hannah Towhey. As a team, the Blue Hens posted a 3.488 cumulative GPA this spring.
