NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's soccer team will head up the road to Lehigh on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup at 6:00 p.m.

What You Need to Know:
- Delaware opened its season with a 2-0 win over Mount St. Mary's on Thursday, August 25, giving head coach Tommy McMenemy his first career victory. The Blue Hens also defeated George Washington on Sept. 13 behind two goals by Sam Donnellan. Delaware and Saint Joseph's played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 6.
- Donnellan was named CAA Rookie of the Week on Sept. 19. He currently is tied for the conference lead in goals scored with four and is the only CAA freshman to score two goals in a game this season. He also is currently one of seven freshman in Division I to score at least four goals this season.
- Seidu Shamsudeen has scored a pair of goals for the Blue Hens. Florian Phlepsen (two), Jordan Miller, and Carlos Fernandez each have recorded an assist.
- Adam Vik has recorded 28 saves through the first seven games of the season to lead the CAA, including a career-high six in a shutout of George Washington. Vik also recorded a shutout against Mount St. Mary's in his collegiate debut on August 25.
- Delaware has played Lehigh 58 times in a series dating back to 1928. The Blue Hens have won the last two matchups between both programs, 1-0 in Bethlehem, Pa. and 3-2 at Grant Stadium.
The Opponent:
- Lehigh is 1-3-1 so far on the season, with their only win coming on Sept. 16 at home against American.
- Elon was tabbed to finish in fifth place in the preseason Patriot League poll, while forward Jack Sarkos earned a Preseason All-Conference selection. He has scored five of Lehigh's six goals, with Jason Pynadath scoring the other.
- Head coach Dean Koski is in his 31st season with Lehigh, and enters the game with a career record of 255-226-68. He has guided the Mountain Hawks to three Patriot League Tournament championships (2000, 2015, 2019), a pair of Patriot League regular season championships (2006, 2019) and five NCAA tournament appearances.
