Men's Soccer Upended By Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Delaware's men's soccer was defeated by Lehigh, 1-0, on Tuesday at Ulrich Sports Complex.
The Blue Hens' and Mountain Hawks both kept each others' offense at bay, as there were a combined three shots on goal in the first 45 minutes. Alonso Rodriguez recorded both shots on goal for the Blue Hens, while Adam Vik recorded a save in his only opportunity.
In the second half, Vik thwarted a scoring chance from Lehigh by making a spectacular save in the 60th minute. Vik totaled three saves in the game, and kept the Mountain Hawks off the scoreboard until the 88th minute. Yoni Aidlberg scored the lone goal of the match on a free kick with under two minutes remaining after the Blue Hens were called for a yellow card just outside the box. Brandon Sengphachanh made his first start of the season for Delaware.
The Blue Hens return to CAA action at home against UNCW on Sept. 24 at 1:00 p.m.
