HAMPTON, Va. – The University of Delaware volleyball team earned its second straight win (25-18, 25-18, 25-19) over Hampton on Sunday afternoon to improve to 8-4 overall and remain a perfect 4-0 in conference play. The Blue Hens have now won seven consecutive matches.
"Lily Rogers did a great job of stepping in and running our offense today by spreading our offense and utilizing our middles," head coach Kim Lambert said. "Leanna Deegan also did an amazing job coming off the bench and contributing right away. I'm proud of our resilience against an athletic Hampton team that never quit."
Lani Mason and Kirah Johnson led the Blue Hen offensive with 17 and 12 kills, respectively. As Lambert mentioned, Rogers tallied 36 assists, and Deegan contributed four kills off the bench. Savannah Seemans paced the Blue Hens with 18 digs in the match.
