Vasquez Wins Four National Titles At Guatemalan Short Course National Championships

Miguel Vasquez, a member of the Guatemala National Team, finished with four National titles while competing at the Guatemalan Short Course National Championships.

Vasquez, who will be entering his second year at Delaware, won the 50m backstroke with a national record time of 25.43. He also took home wins in the 50m freestyle (23.46), 100m backstroke (56.97) and 100m freestyle (50.25). Additionally, Vasquez finished in second in the 100m butterfly (57.07).

Last season, Vasquez earned All-CAA honors in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay. He also was named to the CAA Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll.
