Piscataway, N.J. – The Delaware men's swimming & diving team completed day one of the Rutgers Invitational on Friday.
RESULTS
RESULTS
- UD's top finish of the day came in the 400-yard medley. The relay team of Gavin Currie, Toni Sabev, Simeon Sabev, and Miguel Vasquez finished second with a time of 3:20.48
- The Blue Hens earned a third place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:23.52. Luke Rautzhan, Addison Collins, Miguel Vasquez, and Matvei Namakonov competed in the relay
- Namakonov had the top individual finish of the day, finishing third place in the 50-yard freestyle at 20.80 seconds.
- Kaloyan Levterov finished 10th in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:40.79
- UD placed four athletes in the top 10 in the 200-yard IM. Toni Sabev led the way and finished in sixth at 1:54.92. Following Sabev was Jack Hattery in seventh (1:55.36), Evan Frick in ninth (1:56.20), and Max Moen in 10th (1:56.53).
- Lucas Madariaga finished eighth in the three-meter dive with a final score of 216.20.
