Men’s Basketball Aims for 3-0 Start in Sunday’s Matinee Against Air Force

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team is set to host Air Force at the Bob Carpenter Center on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.. The Blue Hens look to start the year 3-0 for the first time since the 2019-20 season when they began the year 9-0.

- Delaware enters off a big 101-68 win over Goldey-Beacom on Nov. 8 for its second win in a row.
- Kobe Jerome led the way with 18 points, as the junior went 6-for-6 from long range. He was one of seven Blue Hens to finish with double digit point totals, tying a program record.
- Christian Ray tallied his first double-double of the year with a 15-point, 17-rebound performance, as he eclipsed 800 boards for his career.
- Ray looks to hit the 800-career point plateau in Sunday's game, as he is two points shy.
- Wednesday's game was the first time since 2018 that the Hens eclipsed the 100-point mark in a game.
- Currently five players are averaging double-digit point totals on the year.
- The Falcons are 1-1 this season after falling to Portland State and topping LIU.
- Sunday will be part of a two-game East Coast swing after playing at LIU on Friday.
