Men’s Basketball Heads to Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team heads to Western Pennsylvania for a battle against Robert Morris. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. with the game streaming nationally on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE HENS

Delaware snapped its three-game losing streak with its first-ever BIG EAST win in an 87-80 margin at Xavier.
Jalun Trent led the way against the Musketeers, as the senior transfer put up a career-high 27 points on 10-for-16 from the field and 7-for-8 from the line. He led the squad in points, rebounds (7), and assists (6).
Jyáre Davis continues to lead the squad in points per game (18.1), followed by Cavan Reilly (12.4), Gerald Drumgoole Jr. (11.8), and Trent (11.2).
Christian Ray is pacing the Hens in rebounding, as he nears a double-double on average with 8.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

ABOUT THE COLONIALS

RMU added two transfers before the 2023-24 season as the Colonials brought on Markeese Hastings from Western Michigan and Justice Williams from LSU.
The Colonials enter Monday's game on a three-game losing streak and a 2-7 overall record.
Hastings leads RMU in both points per game (14.0) and rebounds (8.4).
Including Hastings, the Colonials have five players averaging double digit points in Josh Corbin (13.7), Williams (13.4), TJ Wainwright (12.4), and Stephaun Walker (10.6).
RMU has been outscored on average 74.7-68.6 for a -6.1 scoring margin.
The Colonials and Blue Hens have one common opponent in Xavier. RMU fell to the Musketeers 77-63.

SERIES HISTORY

Monday's game will be the fourth time the Blue Hens and Colonials meet.
The two schools last met on Dec. 12, 2014, when RMU came away with an 84-81 victory.
Delaware's lone win against RMU was an 86-67 win on Nov. 30, 2013.
