Women’s Lacrosse Unveils 2024 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware women's lacrosse schedule has been released, head coach Amy Altig announced Thursday.
The Blue Hens will enter their fifth season under Altig and look to continue their progress from a season ago. UD finished 8-8 last season with a 4-3 record in conference play and made an appearance in the CAA Tournament.
The Hens begin the season on the road in Pennsylvania with matchups against Villanova on Feb 3 and Lehigh on Feb 9.
A Valentine's Day home opener follows with UMBC coming to Newark. That weekend, the Blue & Gold will entertain Mount St. Mary's on Feb 17 in Newark.
After traveling to the City of Brotherly Love to take on Temple on Feb 21, Delaware welcomes Kent State on Feb 25.
Then Hens wrap up their non-conference slate with games at Georgetown on March 2, at home vs. Lafayette on March 6, and at Wagner on March 9.
The Blue Hens start CAA play on March 16 with a trip to Philadelphia to battle 2023 NCAA Tournament participant Drexel. After facing off against Towson at home on March 24, UD travels to Virginia and New York to take on William & Mary and defending CAA champion Stony Brook on March 30 and April 6, respectively.
Delaware closes out the season with three of its final four regular season contests at home with matchups against Campbell on April 12, Hofstra on April 14, and Monmouth on April 27. The lone road matchup will take place at Elon on April 20.
The CAA Tournament will take place from May 2-4 in Stony Brook, N.Y. with the NCAA Tournament beginning on May 10.
Tickets will go on sale at a later date.
