NEWARK, Del. – No. 13/14/14 Delaware men's lacrosse hits the road and travels to Emmitsburg, Md. for a nonconference road matchup against Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday, Feb. 15 (3 p.m.).

The Blue Hens host its first home game of the season at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 18 (noon) against St. John's. It will be the first of five straight home games for the Blue Hens.

Scouting Delaware
- Delaware men's lacrosse enters the week ranked No. 13 in the Inside Lacrosse poll, No. 14 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll, and No. 14 in the USILA poll
- The Blue Hens opened the season with a 14-5 win against Lafayette on Saturday. The five goals were the least amount of goals the Blue Hens allowed since Feb. 20, 2021, when they defeated NJIT 15-4. It was also the first time the Blue Hens held an opponent to five goals or less in the season opener since 2014 against High Point.
- Red-shirt senior attackman Tye Kurtz was named the Colonial Athletic Association's offensive player of the week. Kurtz led the offense in goals (five), points (six), and shots (13) to help the Blue Hens open the season with a 14-5 win against Lafayette on Saturday. He extended his consecutive games with a point streak to 47, which is tied for the third-longest streak in program history, and currently the third-longest streak among active players.
- Kurtz has 127 goals in his career at Delaware. He's two goals away from surpassing Hayler Osborn (128) to become fifth in program history in goals in a career. He is five points away from ranking sixth all program history in program history in total points at 205.
- Delaware midfield/faceoff Roland Hockenbery tied his career high faceoff wins with 12, and had a career high .706 faceoff win percentage.
- In Saturday's win over Lafayette, Matt Kilkeary recorded 12 saves, and allowed five goals. His .706 save percentage is a career high (min. 45 minutes in net).
- The Mountaineers enter Wednesday's game with an 0-2 record after losses against Navy 13-7, and to CAA foe Towson 20-7.
- Mount St. Mary's are coached by Tom Gravante. He's been in charge of the program for nearly three decades, and has accumulated 170-wins during his 28-year career with the Mountaineers.
- Offensively, the Mountaineers are led by Cormac Giblin and Jared McMahon. The two have five points each. Giblin leads in goals with four, McMahon leads in assists with three.
- Griffin McGinley has played 105 minutes in net. He's racked up 19 saves, allowed 30 goals, and has a save percentage of .388.
