Women's Golf Tied for Fifth After Round One of GCU Invitational

PHOENIX – Delaware women's golf finished the first round of the GCU Invitational tied for fifth place.
Delaware tied with UC Riverside, firing a team score of 295 (+5) through one round of play. UL Monroe paced the field with a score of 284 (-4).
Christina Carroll and Anna Kittelson each finished the first round tied for 15th among all scorers, with both players scoring 72 and remaining even after one round. Kittelson recorded a pair of birdies in the front nine.
Lilia Henkel placed fifth among individuals with a score of 73 (+1). GCU's Tagiralani Luafalealo scored -4 in the first round to lead the field.
The second and final round will begin tomorrow.
