Kittelson’s Strong Finish Earns Delaware Fourth Place at GCU Invitational

PHOENIX – Delaware women's golf had a number of strong individual performances in the final two rounds to earn fourth place at the GCU Invitational.
Delaware fired a team score of 877 (+13) through three rounds, scoring 293-289-295.
Anna Kittelson scored back-to-back 71s (-1) in the final two rounds to finish at -2, tying for tenth among all scorers.
Oihana Etxezarreta broke her own two-round program record after rounds one and two, tying for fourth all-time with a score of 68 (-4) in the second round and an overall mark of 142. Her previous program record was 144 set at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in 2021.
UL Monroe had an impressive -19 to break the GCU invitational record. Tagiralani Luafalealo of GCU led all scorers with a -8 overall score.
The team will be back in action at the Red Rocks Invitational beginning on Mar. 18.
