Towson outscored Delaware 19-12 in the first quarter. Klarke Sconiers and Jewel Smalls led the way for the Blue Hens with seven of their 12 points. Delaware cut the lead to two with 2:45 remaining, but Towson was able to extend their advantage to seven to end the quarter.
