NEWARK, Del. – It will be a jammed packed weekend in Newark as Delaware continues its homestand when welcoming UNCW and Charleston for its lone regular-season meetings, Friday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb. 12 inside Bob Carpenter Center. Friday's battle is part of the Black History Month Legacy Game where fans are encouraged to wear black and the first 300 fans will receive a "Built on Unity" t-shirt as the action starts at 7 p.m. while Sunday's showdown is dubbed Delaware's National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) and Play4Kay game scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.

- Delaware put one in the winning column on Sunday, Feb. 5 after capturing the double-digit 77-67 home victory over Northeastern headlined by six Blue Hens scoring in double figures in front of the home crowd of 1,472.
- The statline vs. Northeastern: The Bob Carpenter Center fans saw six Blue Hens scoring in double figures headlined by a career-best 14 points (4-7 FG, 5-7 FT) coming off the rookie Nakiyah Mays-Prince's hands. Mays-Prince added seven assists, six rebounds and three steals to her statline. Tara Cousins followed with 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3FG) and three steals while Michelle Ojo poured in 13 points (6-11 FG) and pulled down five rebounds off the bench. Demi Burdick added 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and a block in her first-career start in the Blue & Gold. Jewel Smalls (three steals) and Rebecca Demeke (4-7 FG, 2-3 3FG) poured in 10 points each.
- Games played through Feb. 8, Delaware as a unit ranks 44th in three-point percentage (34.9), 45th in defensive rebounds per game (27.9) and 53rd in field goal percentage defense (37.3). Among the conference, the Blue Hens lead the way in defensive rebounds per game and field goal percentage defense and ranks in the top five in rebounds per game (2nd, 39.43), three-point percentage (2nd, 34.9), blocks per game (4th, 3.2), field goal percentage (4th, 41.9), rebound margin (4th, 2.4), scoring margin (4th, 2.7), three-point attempts per game (5th, 17.9), three-point percentage defense (5th) and winning percentage (5th, 57.1).
- Jewel Smalls ranks 14th in three-pointers per game (2.90), 27th in three-pointers (61) and 29th in three-point attempts (169) among the national leaders while leading the way in three-point attempts among the CAA. Smalls also ranks second in three-pointers per game, three-pointers, fourth in steals (43) and steals per game (2.05) and fifth in three-point percentage. Makayla Pippin ranks third in rebounds per game (8.0) and fourth in rebounds (169) while Klarke Sconiers ranks third in blocks per game (1.60) and fourth in blocks (32).
- This will be the 35th meeting between Delaware and UNCW, with the Blue Hens holding the 34-10 all-time record and an 18-3 mark in Newark. The Blue Hens will be looking to extend their winning streak against the Seahawks to seven games.
- The last time Delaware and UNCW met was on Feb. 6, 2022, when the Blue Hens captured the 77-62 home win over the Seahawks.
- The last time UNCW hit the hardwood was last Sunday, Feb. 5, against new CAA member North Carolina A&T. The Seahawks welcomed the Aggies into Trask Coliseum and suffered a 66-55 setback.
- Carrie Gross reset her career-high for the second time in four games with 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting. Gross drained four three-pointers, matching her career-high from beyond the arc. Jayde Gamble (14 points) extended her double-digit scoring streak to five straight games.
- This will be the 18th time in program history that Delaware and Charleston will be meeting. The Blue Hens hold a 14-3 all-time record and are undefeated at home, 8-0, against the Cougars.
- The last time Delaware and Charleston met was last season when the Blue Hens completed the regular-season sweep with a record-setting 103-79 home victory on Feb. 4, 2022, the night Blue Hen alum Jasmine Dickey exploded for a career-high in Bob Carpenter Center record of 52 points.
- The last time out for Charleston was last Sunday, Feb. 5 on the road against Elon where the Cougars fell 62-49 to the Phoneix. Jaila Roberts led the Cougars with 17 points, and Jada Logan followed behind her with 12 points.
- Charleston will head to Philadelphia on Friday, Feb. 10 to face Drexel before heading down to Newark to face the Blue Hens on Sunday.
