Three Finish Second Round Two Under Par, Delaware Men’s Golf Tied for Sixth After Day One of Bash at the Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Delaware men's golf sits tied for sixth place after two rounds at the Bash at the Beach thanks to three players scoring two under par.

Delaware tied with Dayton after a team score of 574 through two rounds, scoring 288 in round one and 286 in round two.

Casper Nerpin paced the Blue Hens with a total score of 141, including firing a 69 in the second round, good for minus-2. Nerpin was one of three Blue Hens to card eight birdies on the day, joining Egor Zubov and Michal Bargenda in the category.

Bargenda tied for second among individuals and tied for 16th overall, also firing a minus-2 in the second round.

Xiong Da rounded out the trio of Delaware players to score a 69 in the second round, notching four birdies and tying for 22nd overall. He also recorded 27 pars through two rounds, good for fourth among all players.

Oral Roberts leads the team field after the first day, while Utah Valley's Caden Weber owns the individual lead.

The third and final round will begin on Tuesday.
