CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Delaware rowing team placed in the top two spots in the first- and second-Women's Varsity Eights races on day two of the Knecht Cup on Sunday.
Varsity Eights
The top finish of the day came in Grand Finale of the Women's Second Varsity Eights where the Blue Hens took the top spot with a time of 6:56.16 c- Grace Phillips 8- Alexia Skor 7- Alli Burns 6- Hannah Towhey 5- McKenna Twitchell 4- Tynneqa Jefferies 3- Storme Buckle 2- Harriet Gaughan 1- Meaghan Leahy
In the Grand Finale of the Women's Varsity Eights, Delaware took home second place with a time of 6:53.81 c – Claire Higgins-Hart 8- Cornelia Meiss 7- Julia Rothstein 6- Ava Norton 5- Sloane Matthews 4- Ava Tine 3- Cara Nel 2- Delaney Denegar 1- Meagham Leahy
