Rowing Has Ten Named as CRCA Scholar-Athletes

This is the third consecutive season that the team has had ten plus earn the award
WILMINGTON, Del. – The University of Delaware's rowing team secured 10 CRCA Scholar-Athletes of the Year nods, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
Delaney Denegar, Shannon Dolt, Sarah Donaldson, Kailey Grimley, Tynneqa Jefferies, Amina Mai, Cornelia Meiss, Grace Phillips, and Makana Steinmetz all earned the honor for the 2025 season.
Academic criteria included that all student-athletes must be at least in their sophomore season, and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher as of the end of the fall semester of the academic year. Athletic criteria consisted of either racing in 75 percent of spring races in an NCAA or IRA eligible boat, or racing in an NCAA boat at their respective conference championship.
Donaldson and Jefferies were two of just 21 graduate students out of the 721 Division I winners to receive the Scholar-Athlete laurel.
Meiss and Phillips earned their third consecutive honor from the CRCA, while Denegar, Donaldson, and Steinmetz gathered their second in a row.
