Bargenda’s Impressive Final Round Places Men’s Golf in Sixth at CAA Championship

BEAUFORT, S.C. – Delaware men's golf wrapped up its season by placing sixth at the CAA Championship.
The Blue Hens fired a 293 in the final round, ending six strokes behind William & Mary and Charleston with a final team score of 884.
Michal Bargenda saved his best performance for last, shooting a five-under-par 67 in the final stanza that pushed his individual performance to 13th among all scorers. Bargenda recorded six birdies and two on the final three holes.
Jack Halleron placed tied for ninth among all scorers to lead the Blue Hens, scoring a 218 total score to appear in the top ten.
UNCW won the team title, and the Seahawks' Patrick Sparks won the individual title.
