SHAMOKIN DAM, PA. – Delaware rowing placed first in multiple events at the Bucknell/Uconn Invite on Saturday, April 29.

Varsity Eights
The Blue Hens came in first in both races in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and third varsity eight races.
In the varsity eight races, the Blue Hens defeated Bucknell and finished with a time of 5:50.17. The Blue Hens also defeated UConn with a time of 6:06.27 c – Claire Higgins-Hart 8- Cornelia Meiss 7- Julia Rothstein 6- Ava Norton 5- Sloane Matthews 4- Ava Tine 3- Mary Quackenbush 2- Delaney Denegar 1- Cara Nel

Delaware second third varsity eight boat finished in first with a time of 6:37.68 and was defeated by Bucknell, but defeated UConn with a time of 6:36.05 c- Marytheresa Fitzpatrick 8- Shannon Dolt 7- Rachel Tartal 6- Sarah Donaldson 5- Felicia Marcozzi 4- Raquel Levit 3-Mariah Noll 2- Adriana Mazzella 1- Kailey Grimley

Varsity Fours
The varsity four boat was defeated by Bucknell and finished with a time of 6:43.67, but defeated UConn with a time of 6:45.11 c- Amina Mai 4- Grace Visser 3- Olivia Hollingsworth 2- Maria Dupnock 1- Sophia Talley

The second varsity four boat was defeated by Bucknell and finished with a time of 7:11.2. The Blue Hens also finished third in a second race with a time of 7:00.84 c- Kiah Beachler 4- Alexis O'Keefe 3- Elena Sherman 2- Blair Kennedy 1- Alexcia Bryant
