Baseball to Battle Charleston in Opening Round of CAA Tournament

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Delaware baseball (29-27, 17-13 CAA) clinched a spot in the CAA Tournament for the first time since 2018 and has earned the no. 5 seed in the tournament, the league announced on Saturday.
The Blue Hens will match up with the host, no. 4 Charleston, in the opening game on Wednesday. First pitch is at noon at College of Charleston Ballpark at Patriots Point.
Delaware previously matched up with the Cougars at Bob Hannah Stadium earlier this season, taking all three games from Mar. 31-Apr. 2, sweeping Charleston for the first time in program history.
