Elwell, Hackley and Harvey Named Women's Soccer Team Captains

NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware women's soccer program announces Grace Harvey, Lauren Elwell and Katie Hackley as captains for the 2023 season on Monday.

The three all played significant roles last season and look to lead the way for the Blue Hens.

Hackley played in all 18 games last season, and started in seven. In over 700 minutes played, scored two goals against Elon, added an assist against Towson, and finished third on the team in shots with 28.

Harvey participated in 17 games, and made one start against Delaware State. She played in over 450 minutes and recorded an assist against Villanova.

Elwell played in 13 games last season, and made 10 starts. In over 900 minutes of playing time, she registered assists against Villanova and Monmouth.

The Blue Hens kick off the season against Syracuse at Grant Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.
