CAA Announces Women’s Basketball 2023-24 Conference Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) revealed its 2023-24 women's basketball conference schedule Tuesday morning.
CAA play will begin in the new year on Friday, Jan. 5 for Delaware as the squad will head up North to Boston to face Northeastern. Immediately following the road trip, the Blue Hens will return to the First State for a two-game home stretch and host Hampton (Jan. 7) and Stony Brook (Jan. 14).
Additional home contests include Northeastern (Jan. 26), Towson (Jan. 28), William & Mary (Feb. 9), Drexel (Feb. 18), UNCW (Feb. 23), CAA newcomer Campbell (Mar. 1) and Elon (Mar. 3) to round out an action-packed home slate.
Delaware's road schedule includes trips to William & Mary (Jan. 19), North Carolina A&T (Jan. 21), Drexel (Feb. 2), Hofstra (Feb. 4), Towson (Feb. 25) and UNCW (Mar. 7). Feb. 11 is a date that is circled as the Blue Hens and the defending champions Monmouth will face off in West Long Branch, N.J. The Blue & Gold will close out the regular season in South Carolina playing against Charleston (Mar. 9).
All 14 teams will qualify for the 2024 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, which is scheduled for Mar. 13-17 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena, home of the Washington Mystics, in Washington, D.C.
Teams will play an 18-game conference schedule against all 13 league foes that features five repeat opponents, four home-only opponents and four away-only opponents. In total, each team will play nine home games and nine road games.
The league accommodated regional rivalries with input from the institutions throughout the process for the selection of repeat opponents, which were announced in August. All conference games will be available nationally on FloHoops, with some contests on various regional and local television on the East Coast. Television information and game times will be announced at a later date.
