PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Delaware field hockey team forced double overtime at No. 16 Princeton Sunday afternoon, but it was the hosting Tigers that came away victorious in the 79^th minute of play. The Blue Hens dip to 6-7 overall, while the Tigers move to 8-4.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Noelle Sabbagh scored on a deflection for her second goal of the season.
Janne Stoetzer assisted for her 10^th point of the campaign. She's now tied for the team lead in scoring.
Cecile van Eijck (6-7) notched seven saves on 21 shots faced.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Off its first penalty corner of the game, Princeton was able to convert to take an early 1-0 during the ninth minute.
Delaware knotted things with an equalizer being deflected off the stick of Sabbagh less than five minutes into the third quarter.
van Eijck saved a shot in the final minute of the first overtime period to force another stanza.
During the 79^th minute in double overtime, the Tigers successfully used a penalty corner to score the golden goal.
