Northeastern Too Much for Field Hockey

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware field hockey couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit Friday afternoon as it fell 2-1 to visiting Northeastern. The Blue Hens move to 6-8 overall and 3-2 in league play, while the Huskies advance to 9-6, 3-1 CAA.

- Rachael Whitehead recorded a defensive save in the fourth quarter without a goalkeeper.

- Miller's bouncing shot cut the deficit in half in the third quarter.
