Three Women's Soccer Athletes Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

NEWARK, Del. – Kyla Burns, Maggie Groh and Constanze Viehmann from the University of Delaware women's soccer team were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team on Tuesday, November 19.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a player must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically. The student athlete must have either played in 90 percent of the team's games or started in 66 percent.
Burns, who was named the Coastal Athletic Association's Goalkeeper of the Year, and earned First Team All-CAA Honors, appeared in, and started in, 18 contests, totaling 1578 minutes. She collected 76 saves, and allowed 17 goals, leading to a .817 save percentage. In CAA play, she allowed six goals in 10 contests and had seven solo shutouts, and one shared shutout.
Groh appeared in all 19 matches and made 10 starts. She played for 826 minutes, including a season high 66 minutes against Campbell. In 2024, she was tied for the team lead in goals with three, scored goal against George Mason, scored the game winning goal against Hofstra, and scored the game tying goal against Northeastern to clinch spot in CAA Tournament.
Viehmann appeared and started in 17 matches, played in 90 minutes in 15 of the Blue Hens 16 regular season contests, and played a season high 93 minutes against Hofstra in the CAA Tournament. She was named to the CAA Second Team.
