Women’s Basketball Announces Class Of 2029 Signing Class

Ava Andrews | 6-1 Guard | Dallas, Ga. | North Paulding High SchoolThis is a special group of young women," said Jenkins. "Ava, Kailah, and Elle embody what it means to be a Blue Hen, and I can't wait to see the impact they'll have on our program and our culture.
A dynamic and versatile guard, Andrews is a proven competitor who has earned accolades including Region Player of the Year and led her team to a state runner-up finish. Known for her scoring ability, defensive presence, and work ethic, Andrews promises to be a force on the court for Delaware.I am thrilled to welcome Ava to our Blue Hen family," Jenkins said. "She has the ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor. Her natural scoring ability, length, and athleticism will be a challenge for opponents. Ava is a relentless worker, and I'm excited to see her growth as a Blue Hen.
Andrews shared her excitement about joining Delaware:
Kailah Correa | 5-4 Guard | Lebanon, Pa. | Lebanon High SchoolIt's a beautiful campus, and I really connected with the players and coaches. I believe in the vision they have for me, and I know this is a place where I'll grow both on and off the court.
A hard-nosed, up-tempo point guard, Kailah Correa brings leadership and tenacity to the Blue Hens. Correa boasts an impressive high school career, including multiple All-State honors, MVP awards, and over 1,000 career points by her sophomore year. She plays for the elite AAU team Philly RISE and is widely regarded as one of Pennsylvania's top players.Kailah is a natural competitor with a tremendous basketball IQ," said Jenkins. "Her ability to create opportunities for her teammates and her infectious personality will make her a key contributor to our program. I can't wait to see her thrive as a Blue Hen.
Correa reflected on her decision:
Elle Stone | 5-11 Guard | Charlotte N.C. | Mallard Creek High SchoolI chose Delaware because the coaches and team always made me feel like family. Coach Jenk and Coach Bri's dedication and loyalty to me since ninth grade has been unmatched. I know this is where I belong.
Elle Stone is a long, athletic guard with an elite shooting touch and a winning pedigree. She has accumulated numerous accolades, including Conference Player of the Year, multiple tournament MVP honors, and over 1,000 career points by her junior year. Stone competes for the nationally recognized AAU program CP3 Charlotte.Elle is an incredible shooter and competitor who will be an immediate asset to our program," Jenkins said. "Her length and athleticism create havoc on the defensive end, and she has the ability to score at all three levels. I'm excited for Elle to make her mark as a Blue Hen.
Stone expressed her enthusiasm for the next chapter in her basketball journey:
I chose Delaware because it's not just a great school but a true family. The coaching staff and team embody everything I value as a player and person. From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew this was home.
