Women's Lacrosse Reveals 2025 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. -Â The University of Delaware women's lacrosse program revealed its spring 2025 schedule Thursday. Heading into her sixth season as head coach, Amy Altig will lead the team in the 15-game slate that kicks off in February. Last spring, the Blue Hens finished 10-6 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
The season fires up with a home opener against Temple on Friday, February 7.
The Hens will then travel to their first away competitions of the season at Rutgers on Saturday, February 15 and at Mount St. Mary's the following week on Saturday, February 22.
Princeton will travel to Newark for a Wednesday evening game on February 26 accompanied by a Wagner Saturday afternoon game on March 1.
The following Wednesday sees an evening away competition at UMBC on March 5 before a Saturday return home against Georgetown on March 8.
To close out Delaware's final year in the CAA, the women's lacrosse team will face eight regular season conference matchups.Â
To kick off the conference slate, the Hens will travel to Hofstra on Friday, March 14 before a Drexel home visit on Friday, March 21.Â
Stony Brook will travel south to Newark for a Sunday, March 23 home matchup before the Hens head to Monmouth for a Sunday, March 30 away game.Â
Elon will open April with a home game on Friday, April 4 before the Hens travel south for two away matchups at Campbell on Friday, April 11 and Towson on Sunday, April 13.
Finishing off the regular season, the Hens take on William & Mary at home for a Saturday afternoon game on April 19.
The CAA Tournament will kick off on Thursday, May 1 with the semifinals hosted by the highest seeded program.
