Hranicka Tabbed IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – University of Delaware women's lacrosse's Madison Hranicka has been named the IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week after her performance against Lehigh, the organization announced Tuesday.
The Mendham, New Jersey native recorded three caused turnovers and five ground balls as the Blue Hens topped the Mountain Hawks 11-7 in the season opener. With the three caused turnovers, she moved into a tie for third place in program history.
Hranicka and the Hens return to action on Wednesday for the home opener against UMBC at 3 p.m.
