Men’s Basketball Heads to North Carolina for Dates with Elon and NC A&T

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball team looks to extend its four-game win streak during a pair of road contests at Elon on Thursday at 7 p.m. and at NC A&T on Saturday at 2 p.m.

ABOUT THE HENS
- Delaware enters Thursday's contest playing some of its best basketball all season, having won four straight and five of the last six for an 8-4 record in CAA action and a 16-9 record overall.
- The Hens are currently in a four-way tie for third place in the conference standings, behind Charleston and UNCW.
- Christian Ray joined the 1,000-point club on Feb. 3 in UD's 84-80 win against Monmouth and then the 1,000-rebound club in Delaware's 74-62 win over Towson on Feb. 8. He's one of 12 active players to accomplish both.
- UD features four players averaging double figure scoring with Jyáre Davis continuing to lead the pack with 18.3 ppg, good for fifth in the CAA.
- Gerald Drumgoole. Jr. averages 13.1 ppg while Niels Lane and Cavan Reilly are averaging 10.0 ppg apiece.
