COACH'S QUOTE
HEN HIGHLIGHTSWe have been hitting a lot of adversity and this team is learning how to manage through it," said head coach Sarah Jenkins. "One of the things that we have been struggling with is making shots. As a player, it's hard on you when you don't see the ball go in. As a coach, its hard when you don't see the ball go in for your kids and to finally see the ball go in, it felt really good. I thanked God, maybe the curse is over [laughs].
- The Blue Hens were led by first-year center Ande'a Cherisier, who had 17 points (8-of-9 FG, 1-of-1 FT), grabbed seven boards, block one shot and had one steal.
