Hranicka Tabbed CAA Defensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – After a pair of major performances, University of Delaware women's lacrosse's Madison Hranicka has been named CAA Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Hranicka had a monster week for the Hens, totaling 16 caused turnovers and 13 ground balls.
In the 13-3 defeat of Lafayette, she set a program and CAA single game record with 11 CTs and added eight ground balls. Her 11 caused turnovers aided the Hens to a program record 26 on the day.
She followed up that game with another five caused turnovers and five ground balls in Staten Island as part of the 17-6 rout of Wagner.
Hranicka and the Hens return to action on Saturday at Drexel.
