Men's Lacrosse Returns Home for CAA Matchup with Hofstra

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team returns to CAA action on Saturday, March 23 as the Blue Hens host the Hofstra Pride at noon in Delaware Stadium.

ABOUT THE HENS
- Delaware enters Saturday's game with a 3-3 overall record and 1-0 in CAA action.
- The Hens come off a 14-6 loss to No. 6-ranked Syracuse.
- Goalkeeper Kevin Ellington made a career-high 20 saves.
- The Blue Hens received votes in the most recent national polls.
- Ellington is 10th in the nation in save percentage (.571) and 11th in goals against average (9.64).
- The Blue Hens are 10th in scoring defense with a total of 57 goals allowed across six games for an average of 9.50 per game.
- As a team, Delaware leads the CAA in save percentage (.578) and goals against average (9.50).
- UD also leads in man-up scoring percentage going 9-for-17 (.529).

- John Madsen leads the Pride with 24 goals and 28 points while Griffin Turner leads in assists with 17.
- Defensively, JT Roselle leads Hofstra in caused turnovers with 11.

SERIES HISTORY

- The Blue Hens have not defeated the Pride at home since 2019 when Delaware topped Hofstra 13-7 in Delaware Stadium.
