Men's Lacrosse Heads to the Garden State for First CAA Bout Against Monmouth

NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team opens CAA action on Saturday, March 9 as the Blue Hens head to West Long Branch, N.J. to take on the Monmouth Hawks. Game time is set for 11 a.m.

ABOUT THE HENS
- Delaware enters Saturday's contest at 2-2 overall and has dropped its last two games in a row to Penn and Michigan.
- The Blue Hens fell to Penn 11-10 in a hard-fought battle on Feb. 24 followed by a 13-8 defeat at the hands of No. 11-ranked Michigan.
- Mike Robinson continues to lead the Hens in both goals (15) and points (19) while JP Ward has tallied 10 goals and leads UD in assists with seven.
- Eight Blue Hens have recorded three or more goals on the year.
- Robinson is currently tied for fifth in the nation in goals per game with 3.75 and is 21 goals away from breaking Delaware's all-time goals scored record.
- Ward is six goals and 14 assists away from becoming just the third Delaware player to have 100 career goals and 100 career assists.

- Monmouth features three players with double digit goals scored with Brendan Dundas leading the way with 11 followed by Connor Gorman and Connor Macrae with 10 each.
