No. 63 Men’s Tennis Garners Win Against Morgan State
4/10/2024 3:49:00 PM | Men's Tennis
NEWARK, Del. – No. 63 University of Delaware men's tennis had a productive morning against Morgan State on Wednesday, defeating MSU 6-1. UD now moves to a 15-2 record while Morgan State dips to 7-10.
ON THE RECORD
"It was a good way to bounce back from our loss vs NJIT," Men's Tennis Head Coach Marc Pibernat said. "Knowing Nikolaj Talimaa and what he went through with his injury, this might be the happiest moment of the season. Having our captain back in the lineup is the greatest news this team could have right now. A shoutout to Nicholas Gore for playing an excellent match in singles as well as Ids Waterbolk for winning his doubles. They both push the team to be better and I couldn't be happier for them that they were able to find themselves in the lineup because they deserve it so much. We will go back to work tomorrow to prepare for our absolute battle on Friday vs FAU."
