- Just thirty seconds into the second quarter, Ward found the back of the Stony Brook net to make it 6-1 followed by a highlight reel goal from Robinson to make it a 7-1 Blue Hens advantage. With 8:25 before the break, Cam Acchione scored his first of the day on an extra-man opportunity making it 8-1 before Robinson completed his first-half-hat-trick at the 1:35 mark to give UD a 9-1 lead headed into the locker room.
- McCurry opened the third with his second goal of the game before Powers netted back-to-back goals to make it an 11-goal advantage for the Hens at 12-1 with 10:44 to play in the quarter.
