No. 18 Men's Lacrosse Set to Face Drexel on Saturday

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team heads to the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday, April 20 as the Blue Hens are set to face the Drexel Dragons in their second to last regular season contest of the year. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Vidas Field.

ABOUT THE HENS
- Delaware comes off a thrilling 16-12 victory over Stony Brook back on April 13.
- The Blue Hens have won four in a row to improve to 7-3 overall and are a perfect 5-0 in CAA action.
- JP Ward became the third player in Delaware men's lacrosse history to reach both 100-career goals and 100-career assists.
- With his two-goal, five-assist performance against the Seawolves, Ward garnered the CAA's Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors this week.
- Senior goaltender Kevin Ellington made a season-high 21 saves for the Blue Hens in Saturday's win over Stony Brook and finished the day with a .636 save percentage.
- Ellington's performance earned him his second consecutive CAA Defensive Player of the Week honor.
- Ellington now leads the nation in save percentage at .602, is third in goals against average (9.00) and ninth in saves per game (13.00).
- As a team, the Blue Hens lead the nation in the least amount of turnovers committed at 12.60 per game and third in both power-play percentage (.630) and scoring defense (8.80).

ABOUT THE DRAGONS
- Drexel comes off a 13-12 win over Hofstra on April 13 after back-to-back losses to Fairfield and Stony Brook, respectively.
- The Dragons enter Saturday's contest at 5-7 overall and are 2-3 in CAA action.
- On the year, the Dragons have a -1.3 scoring margin being outscored by opponents 142-126.
- Max Semple's 27 goals and Luke Tomak's 24 goals lead Drexel's offense with each tallying 28 points.
