No. 18 Men's Lacrosse Set to Face Drexel on Saturday

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team heads to the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday, April 20 as the Blue Hens are set to face the Drexel Dragons in their second to last regular season contest of the year. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Vidas Field.

ABOUT THE HENS

Delaware comes off a thrilling 16-12 victory over Stony Brook back on April 13.
The Blue Hens have won four in a row to improve to 7-3 overall and are a perfect 5-0 in CAA action.
JP Ward became the third player in Delaware men's lacrosse history to reach both 100-career goals and 100-career assists.
With his two-goal, five-assist performance against the Seawolves, Ward garnered the CAA's Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors this week.
Senior goaltender Kevin Ellington made a season-high 21 saves for the Blue Hens in Saturday's win over Stony Brook and finished the day with a .636 save percentage.
Ellington's performance earned him his second consecutive CAA Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Ellington now leads the nation in save percentage at .602, is third in goals against average (9.00) and ninth in saves per game (13.00).
As a team, the Blue Hens lead the nation in the least amount of turnovers committed at 12.60 per game and third in both power-play percentage (.630) and scoring defense (8.80).
The Blue Hens' +4.70 scoring margin is good for sixth in the country.
The Hens are second in the CAA in man-up goals per game (1.70) and points per game (21.60).
Mike Robinson is second in the conference in goals per game at 2.80 while Ward is third in assists per game at 2.50.
FOGO OJ Morris leads the CAA in faceoff percentage at .588 (min. 50)

ABOUT THE DRAGONS

Drexel comes off a 13-12 win over Hofstra on April 13 after back-to-back losses to Fairfield and Stony Brook, respectively.
The Dragons enter Saturday's contest at 5-7 overall and are 2-3 in CAA action.
On the year, the Dragons have a -1.3 scoring margin being outscored by opponents 142-126.
Max Semple's 27 goals and Luke Tomak's 24 goals lead Drexel's offense with each tallying 28 points.
Five Drexel players have recorded 10 or more goals and three have 14 or more with Conor Haley joining Semple and Tomak with 14 goals.
Gavin Kelly leads the Dragons with 16 helpers on the year and with his 13 goals, Kelly leads Drexel with 29 points.
The Dragons score the second fewest goals in the conference, only averaging 10.50 goals per game.
The Dragons are one of four CAA teams with a man-down goal this season.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday's contest will be the 78th meeting between the two teams.
The Blue Hens look for their 50th win all-time over the Dragons.
